Trend Challenge

Before we return to our scheduled Sneak Peak, here's a challenge to keep busy with!
Scrappy trends come and go, and I don't know about you, but I really enjoy tapping into a few of them here and's always fun to learn something new!
A trend I've noticed in the past month or so is pattern-on-pattern layering, using punches and the same piece of paper.  Maybe you've seen it around too, often using circle or scallop punches, and dimensional adhesive?
Here's my take on it, using label and butterfly punches, along with the scrumptious November kit:

What do you think?  I offset the stripes with the label shapes for better visibility, but lined up the butterflies, for a cool optical effect! :)
The floral butterfly layering looks soft and subtle:
So...I challenge you to break out your punches, your pop-dots, and a piece of paper, and join me in creating your own unique pattern-on-pattern layering project.  Share your link in the comments section and show us what you've made!

  1. So gorgeous Keri! It's like an optical illusion but so pretty. I love the pink spritzed roses.

  2. Thank you wonderful challenge!!
